{"id":1632,"date":"2024-05-20T12:05:02","date_gmt":"2024-05-20T12:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gccbusinessgate.com\/?p=1632"},"modified":"2024-05-20T12:05:02","modified_gmt":"2024-05-20T12:05:02","slug":"qatar-to-test-air-taxi-electric-delivery-planes-by-early-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gcctendergate.com\/ar\/qatar-to-test-air-taxi-electric-delivery-planes-by-early-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Qatar to test air taxi, electric delivery planes by early 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Qatari Ministry of Transport (MoT) has announced plans to test the services of the electric air taxi and electric delivery planes in the early\u00a02025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Ministry in a statement said that it had applied for all the necessary approvals and coordination matters with the Qatari bodies concerned, to go ahead with such test runs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This step will contribute to supporting the performance of Qatar\u2019s transportation sector by introducing the new concept of air mobility, which uses the latest global technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), thereby enhancing the public transit systems integration, coherence, sustainability, and eco-friendliness, the Ministry added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The step comes within the framework of the Ministry\u2019s efforts to achieve the goals of the Third Qatar National Development Strategy (NDS3) which focuses on benefiting from advanced\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">technologies,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0achieving sustainable development and economic diversification, as well as boosting Qatar\u2019s leading global position on the transportation map, leading to achieving the pillars of Q<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">atar National Vision 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Recently, the Ministry of Transport hosted the first international \u201cAutonomous e-Mobility Forum\u201d organized by Just us &amp; Otto Marketing Services during the period from April 30 to May 2, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The event shed light on latest trends and innovations in sustainable transport solutions.
